Eddie G. Robinson Museum
|
Lincoln Parish's new attraction honors Eddie G. Robinson, an American Icon. Robinson stood atop the football world for 56 years as the coach of the Grambling State University Tigers. In 1985 he became the winningest coach in college football history, surpassing Paul "Bear"Bryant of the University of Alabama with 324 wins. An exhibit of the museum can be seen at the Stadium Support Facility on the campus of Grambling State University. Plans are underway for an 8,000 sq.ft. facility highlighting Robinson?s success as a college football coach and a Louisiana legend.

Lincoln Parish Museum

Telling the story of Ruston, visitors can venture back in time and discover Ruston from the very beginning. On the National Register of Historic Places, the Kidd-Davis house was built in 1885, one year after the founding of Ruston. The museum is a countless collection of pictures and artifacts detailing Ruston’s over 200 year history.

Louisiana Military Museum

Founders Home

The Founder and first president of Grambling State University, Charles P. Adams former home is on the National Register of Historic Places. Adams served as president from 1901 to 1936 and helped to set the university on its course to become one of the most recognizable Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the nation.

Ruston Farmers Market
